I need to connect an output from a F0-04DAH-1 module in a D0-06DR PLC. I currently am successfully driving two VS pumps from other outputs and the power for those comes from a seperate DC power supply, not the DC available in the PLC. The output will drive a direct coupled valve actuator. My question is how to correctly wire the output to the actuator without harming the PLC. The valve is powered by a 24VAC transformer. The actuator wiring diagram shows one leg of the 24 VAC being connected in common with the PLC output ' - ' signal wire. A dropping resistor is connected between the output ' + ' and ' - ' signal wire. I am enclosing the PDF of the actuator, the wiring I am referencing is on pg 7, fig. 12. Any help/direction is appreciated.

Wire it up just as pictured(minus the feedback wire) with an FC-11 http://www.automationdirect.com/adc/Shopping/Catalog/Process_Control_-a-_Measurement/Signal_Conditioners/FC-11
in between. Put the resistor in the valve portion of the loop.
