I downloaded the click PLC software v3.92 on my Raspberry Pi 5 which is a Linux based operating system. But the click software won't work, it says "visual C++ 2015 install failed". Has anyone had this problem too? Any solutions?
Are you trying to install via Wine? Click is a windows application.
Yes, I installed via Wine. Pi operating system says it has all the window's components. I just want to use Pi as a programming device.
Yes, a Windows application, in particular, the Supporting Operating Systems listed for Click v3.92 is: Windows 10, and Windows 11. I worked with someone who "runs a Windows Virtual Machine" on a Linux-based computer (though not for Click). Do you know if your computer is capable of this? Sorry, I do not know, I have never "run a Windows Virtual Machine on Linux". Perhaps ADC tech support, or other customers, can verify if it is possible to run Click software on a "Windows Virtual Machine".
Click installed fine for me:

USB drivers obviously dont work though, have to connect to Ethernet enabled Click CPUs.
Make sure you have all the other necessary dependencies installed with Wine such as the Visual C++ files.
Is this on an x64 processor? The raspberry pi is running on an ARM CPU with a reduced instruction set. I could see the software not being compatible with an ARM CPU even if it works in Linux with WINE
Oh that's true, good catch. I forgot about the CPU aspect of it.
