RedBarn (Customer) asked a question.

I am using a Cmore EA9 HMI. For some reason my screens are not updating when I send them to the HMI. I feel like this is new. What am I forgetting to do?

I save the project the send to the CMore. When I download it fresh from the cmore after closing the Programming Software (ver 6.79) the changes are there. But when I go to the screen on the CMore, they are not visible. I tried rebooting but no effect.

If I understand, you see your objects when viewing the screens on the C-more programming software, but you do not see the objects on the HMI itself, correct? You mention "they are not visible". Do you have "Object Visibility Option" checked? Is the visibility tag making the object not visible?

      Apologies vague.
I added 3 new pens to the screen. They are not there when I look at the screen on the CMore or on its web server. But if I close the CMore Programming Software and reopen if and load the project from the CMore panel, the pens are in the screen.

Is there more than one C-more HMI on this network? Are you sure you're transferring to/from the right one? You can use the "flash screen" feature to confirm.

This is an older version. Are you able to upgrade the C-more programming software, and then upgrade the C-more panel?

    • RedBarn (Customer)

My understanding is that due to the older hardware we are supposed to stay in the 6.xx series. 6.79 is pretty close to current. If its a bug, I will certainly upgrade to fix...but was thinking more likely bad user on device.

We do recommend upgrading to the latest version (6.81). This often helps strange issues like these.

I see, you are not seeing the lines on the Line Trend Graph on the HMI itself, but you see the lines on the Line Trend Graph when viewing the Line Trend Graph in the C-more programming software. This has never happened to me before, except when the actual data value is out of range (low or high) of my trend graph range, or when I use colors that too closely match the trend graph background color. I usually add Numeric Display boxes under the trend graph to show the actual data value. The numeric displays would show if the actual value were out of range of the trend graph.

Actually, I was not seeing the pen listed in the legend. True often hard to tell which line is which or whether in range. However, this morning it is fixed. Maybe does not want to change file once file is started? In any event, now being recorded.
