I have changed the IP addressing on the screen rather than using the software and after a power cycle the addressing reverted to the previous settings. I think I may have experienced this previously but unsure.
It indicates the Network settings are programmed into the project. Read the project out with a matching software version, change the setting in the software and download again. If you want to be able to change the network settings in the set up screen, and they remain, then uncheck the option to save the network settings.
You need to set the IP address in the panel network settings (see here).
What is happening is that the IP address you are entering in the screen menu is being overridden when the project file loads after exiting the menu. Setting it in panel network settings will make the IP part of the project file.
