Cmore EA3 RTC slow to update display
Hello, I have an EA3 screen that I want to display the date and time on a screen. I single copied the SD23-25 RTC into the DS register, which I displayed on the HMI numeric display. It works, it just gets behind. Sometimes a couple hours. How do I fix this? thanks, Ryan
There is no need to copy the data into a DS register. You can use three numeric display objects in the C-More Micro software to display hours, minutes and seconds as they are in the PLC clock. Use SD24 (Hours), SD25, (Minutes) and SD26 (Seconds).
I tried that first, but I had similar results. Particularly the hour seemed slower to update than the others.
Does anything else on the screen, besides the time, seem to move slowly at times?
No. Just the clock.
