Replacing P1AM-200 Bootloader with RS485 compatible one

I am interested in replacing the stock bootloader with one that is compatible with the RS-485 serial shield. Do you have a work flow or instructions on how to reprogram the bootloader section? I need to be able to perform in field updates, and my only connection to the device will be over RS485.

    Hey @MechE87 (Customer) ,

We do not provide an RS485 compatible bootloader. While it could be possible to create this yourself, it will take a decent understanding of microcontrollers and their flash and carries the risk of bricking your device if implemented incorrectly.

    Thanks

Thanks for the clarification. With the risk of bricking the device, is there an access port to SWD interface in case that happens? This would be going into a place that doesn't have access to USB if updates are needed and I'd prefer not to have to replace the main controller if an update or feature is needed.
