Hello, i need to connect some Stride Field I/O to Click Plc, but i need to supply 24 Volts to Stride Field I/O by the same ethernet cable, is this possible?
Could you help me? I have an ethernet click plc and I need to read the inputs of some machines that are 50 meters away from the control cabinet, some years ago I used stride field i/o with a click plc, but in the current case I need to supply 24 volts with the same ethernet cable because it is not possible to use additional power supplies on the machines where stride field i/o will be installed.

Another possible solution: run an Ethernet-plus-power cable (hybrid cable) to the Stride IO box. The hybrid cable includes shielded Ethernet cables plus individual wires for the 24VDC power in one overall jacketed cable. DigiKey, and other suppliers, carry this type of cable.
