The Solutionist (Customer) asked a question.

Click PLC software print quality

I have been using the Click software for 4 years now and I have been very pleased except for 1 main problem. When I print the ladder using the print function, the text is so fuzzy that I wouldn't be able to read it if I was not the one who wrote it. I have contacted the help desk and their sugestion was to use screen shots and piece it all together to make a printable file. This is not a good option as I regularly print out what I am working on to help edit it.

Automation Direct has been making some great improvments to the software capabilitys in the last few years, But please make it so that it is clear to print.

If I am missing something and there is a way to print clearly, please let me know.

Thank you for the feedback. This has been reported to the vendor to investigate.

Try printing it to a ".pdf" printer driver. Is it still blurry in the PDF?

I know it is not actually answering the question, but the Do-More software prints well, of course to use it in any practical way one need to use the more expensive Do-More processor, but in many cases I think it would be well worth the money.

The CLICK printing has been terrible for many years now.

I am starting to work with the Productivity series. The first thing I checked was the print quality and it was much better!

I suspect the ladder -> print programming is specifying an old MS PGothic or similar font that uses bitmaps at small size

search up “ms pgothic horrible anti-aliasing” :)

I hadn't noticed the problem at all.

    I use Brother laser printers

Your print-preview doesn't look like this?

My preview does look like this, and its not very clear. If I use an ink jet printer I cant read the blue tags at all. With my laser printer its a bit better, but when I print at 75% to help the logic fit on the page it gets very difficult to read.
