ADC Launch Project Manager_01 (AutomationDirect) asked a question.
We are pleased to announce we have launched four new specialty modules for the CLICK PLUS PLC product line. One of the modules may also be used with the CLICK PLC. Here are the details:
Node-RED is a visual programming tool for connecting physical hardware devices, APIs, and online services together as part of the Internet of Things. Node-RED’s low-code, drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to create complex flows without writing code. With the low-code Node-RED® interface, you can easily facilitate interactions between the CLICK PLUS CPU and upper-level IT/business systems. This intelligent module utilizes its own processor, ensuring the main CPU remains unburdened but has direct access to the memory of the PLC and all the data needed. The C2-NRED also supports custom JavaScript programming, extending the CLICK PLUS platform's functionality even further.
CLICK PLUS C2-OPCUA Server Module
OPC UA® (Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture) is a long-standing communication protocol used throughout industry and provides a standardized way for industrial systems, regardless of manufacturer, to communicate and share data. The C2-OPCUA module, when added to a CLICK PLUS CPU, allows the simplicity and reliability of CLICK PLCs to be deployed in many more applications that support this protocol.
CLICK PLUS Discrete C2-14TTL Combo Module
Allows for Low-Voltage/High-Speed motion to steppers and servos that take 5V step/direction commands. Supports up to (6) High-Speed counters and (3) High-Speed PTO/PWM outputs.
CLICK PLUS and CLICK C0-04POT Simulator Input Module
CLICK 4-channel potentiometer analog simulator input module allows user to simulate up to four analog inputs during training, bench testing or start-ups.
