Jbolt5 (Customer) asked a question.

I just got a click plus plc (c2-02) and when I tried to update the firmware over wireless connection it failed. Now when I try to connect to the plc I get error code GUI-134. It says it has an existing programming connection currently logged in.

I am on my home network nobody else could possibly be logged in

"Did you try turning it off and back on?"

I can imagine it "remembering" a connection that is in fact no longer connected, but I'd think a power cycle should fix that.

Personally, if other methods are not working, I would try a USB connection, I don't know if it will help but I would try it.

So I tried to cycle it on and off and a usb cable and neither worked. I also tried to factory reset it and it wont reset. I held the BT button for 6 sec and that did nothing so I tried cycling on/off within 30 sec of power up and that also did nothing. Am I missing something here?

Did you shut down Click software and/or reboot your PC?

Ran into Same error when trying to update firmware from out of the box to 3.70 I have power cycled PLC and computer and now the IP address reverted back to default after cycling power on the PLC and I get Error PTC-007 Cannot Connect to the PLC.

When I try to upgrade the firmware I get Error GUI-134, Existing Programming Connection. I'm stuck on this right now, any help would be appreciated!

Got the same error today. Try it with older version of Click software, as you will need to downgrade the firmware version, because the 3.70 is full of bugs. Firmware 3.43 is fine. If you will not be able to downgrade it with 3.43 version, try version 2.52(3.0 for C2). It should work. DONT USE 3.70 nor 3.60. Last know good version is 3.43.

    I agree, back off 3.70.

3.60 works for me, but my projects are small and limited in scope.
