MtnSparky (Customer) asked a question.
This may seem like a silly question but I just can't for sure know and want to ask. We test 480V 3ph blower motors. Was curious how important it is to test all 3 phases or if just one phase gives a pretty reliable overview? Thank you.
Best would be all three at one time, but Amp clamping each lead in order would most likely be adequate if the equipment is new.
I would think that if you test a lot of motors, all three at one time would be easier and more cost effective, once a station was set up. Easier to record/print data for each motor.
