MQTT connection errors
We have been experiencing a problem with MQTT publishing from (multiple) Productivity P1-550 to an Eclipse Mosquitto 2.0.11 broker.
The error we get is: "P1CLIENTID disconnected due to malformed packet."
Is that something you guys have come across before? We had one of the P1's working for some time with Mosquitto, but now that we tried to add others with some changed topic structure none of them want to connect anymore.
Is the error code on the P1 or the broker? Looking in the help file for PSuite topic P426 did not see this listed. Is it possible for you to get a wireshark capture when you trigger the enable bit so we can see the traffic on the wire?
That error is in the broker logs.
I will get some wireshark logs next. I was hoping someone else might have come across that error before.
Is it also possible to have you go online with the CPU and create a system report? Them PM it to me for our review. Thanks.
Will get that organised.
I have sent the wireshark capture and the some screenshots via PM a while ago.
Did you receive them? Still trying to locate the source of the error.
What version of Productivity Suite are you using? Can you go online with the CPU and create a system report?
Are you possibly using duplicate client ID's that maybe causing the error?
In the Enet/IP status tags what is being reported on the P1 side. Can you select the monitor button and then provide screenshot that shows these tags for both Publisher & Subscriber?
