Hello Guys,
I'm using P1-550 to control fanuc robot m20ia, i set everything on robot and on plc but i have noticed that status of ethernet is changing periodically from sucess to connection is use or duplicate F i don<t know how to solve it.

in robot side i have also connection is change from running to online and go back to running, the online status is changing i will say only a few msec and go back for 10s running and is keep looping like that

      it worked fine before but i just add an unmannaged ethernet switch and create this problem, there is anyway to resolve the problem from the plc (scanner) ?

        What is connected to the unmanaged switch? Can you provide a network topology of how your network is set up?

        just laptop because i'm using roboguide, but even i retried to connect laptop directly and i have same problem, first time it worked fine once i plugged the switch the problem is there now even if i remove the switch im still having the same problem, normally i see that the connection is success but it change periodically from success to connection in use/duplicate forward open or i should configure the scanner from scratch like removing the generic and rebuild another one ?

    As a simple, quick test: trying going into the P1-550 EtherNet/IP setup and change the "Deliver Option" from Multicast to Unicast under the "T->O (INPUT)" tab.

    Would you mind to share your program? I am a also building a system with P3-550 and FANUC R30-ib compact plus controller.

     

    I would like to run your code with my setup and see if I get the same issue. I need to get the coms set up and working for my system anyway so if you are having an issue I would like to maybe work together to troubleshoot and resolve.
