Coming from a computer programming background I am familiar with the advantages of using version control systems like git in the development process. I see that there is some very nice functionality built into the Productivity Suite to compare Projects, but It requires opening a project and then using mouse clicks to select the project file to compare.
- Is there a command line switch for the Productivity Suite to select two project files for comparison and then Productivity Suite will pop up immediately into the comparison mode? From my understanding, this could be hooked into the git diff driver using a .gitattributes file to allow a reviewer to examine merge requests.
- Are there any thoughts on integrating version control or even better distributed version control into the Productivity Suite?
1.) No support for command line switch.
2.) Thanks for your feedback! This feature is on our list of improvements, however, we do not have a timeframe when this improvement will be added to the software.
