Productivity 2000 HSI indexing
I am getting a strange reading with my Sensor count using the registration function. The instruction Status shows 16 .I dont know what that fault is. and my Event Count will count up but randomly flashes to "0"but continues to count every time the sensor makes.
Per help topic P244 that would be bit 5 = Aborted - I/O fault (see module error register).
Sorry that doesn't help the code just says future. I really just want to reset the count with another NO tag
It is by bit not value. So if bit 5 is high in binary that would = 16 which would be the error I listed above.

I also can not get it to "Store Count" is that the same problem
Is your sensor wired in to the Z input for a channel or one of the GP inputs?
Did you set up the HSI in hardware config already?
Is the registration instruction staying enabled the whole time you are wanting to look for a sensor input?
Are you only having 1 REG instruction active at a time?
The HSI hardware has been set up properly
The Reg instruction blinks between 16 and 32600 at the same time the count blinks between current count and 0
Yes only one running
