Techs (Customer) asked a question.
Application EA-Run.exe encountered a serious error and must shut down.
Any one run into a Ea-Run.exe error when loading a recipe?
Is there anyway to recover. I get a blank white screen with a mouse cursor.
C-more seems NOT to have a watchdog to reboot. The only thing to reboot is to unplug the power or through the C-more programming software send a Reboot.
I get no error logs. Need a way to recover onsite an event of a HMI hang.
What version of C-more software are you running?
Any update?
Ran into a similar problem with getting a EA-Panel.exe application error. However, with the power cycle, all I get is a black screen.
I don't know if I should start my own thread, since it seems to be two different errors. However, the project/firmware is 6.75 base too.
I must have made some slight change. The error has not been showing up lately.
But I would like to see an Auto watchdog reboot in case it happens again.
It only happens when I try to load a recipe from the spreadsheet. Doesn't happen all the time.
I did notice that some of my recipe entries were red and indicated that they exceeded the String length. This could have been the issue. I'll have to keep an eye on it and see if it is fixed.
Hello, today we just started seeing this issue for the first time. Is there any update on a solution? We’re running firmware 6.75. Thanks.
I haven't checked lately. The customer doesn't change recipe too often but I’ll go back to the lab and see if I still have the issue. Standby.
Hello, I cannot speak directly to what issues you may have had. However I have seen this error before on multiple occasions. Most typically I've seen this message when the USB drive I am using to store Log information to has become full or corrupted. Just this morning I saw it happen and after removing the USB drive and "ignoring" the check for other storage I haven't had any issues since. This is not the first time I have seen this but I hope this helps somebody as I couldn't find any correlation between the message and the USB issues I have been seeing. Perhaps AD can look into this a little more?
