chavenor (Customer) asked a question.
I have a 208v 1-pole 50 amp cable coming thru a wall that I need to power multiple power supplies that drive LED screens.
This is the box I'm looking at getting.
What parts do you recommend?
- Terminate the power cables, and distribute those +, -, and ground with some kind of terminal block or bus bar. I would 8 terminals for the power supplies, the power supply input voltage 208 has a max of 2 amp.
- Cable Gland on the In Wires
- Cable Glands on the Out Wires
- This feed wire is coming off a breaker, so I probably don't need a breaker on this panel.
"This feed wire is coming off a breaker, so I probably don't need a breaker on this panel."
If you have a 50 amp supply and you want to feed eight small loads you probably do want circuit breakers in the panel, otherwise you'd need to use 50A capacity wire for everything.
Where are you? wiring methods can vary a lot by country. In the US I'd consider something like;

install a couple of two pole 15 or 20A breakers and run 4 of the 2A power supplies off each breaker, though one might chose a larger panel and more breakers for more granularity.
In the US 208V would be two hot legs thus needing two pole breakers, could be different elsewhere, though I'd expect 220 or 240 rather than 208 in those places
