Do these Epson products employ DRM/NFC/RFID technologies to enforce using their brand replacements and enforced product waste and product waste like Dymo? eevblog EFF AppleInsider

I am not against using the proper brand - for the proper result, but I am opposed to being FORCED to NOT be able to use a compatible alternative. I am against being locked-in to using overpriced consumables.

I don't want to make this thread about Dymo, so I will not say more now.

    Does Epson employ similar schemes?
