Feature request - add a Data Trace
I would like to see a code trouble shooting tool that is similar to the Data View. It would allow one to see historical values of data registers in the form of a graph. A graph of a boolean would look like a rectangle wave, where the leading and falling edges are easy to see. In the case of a counter, ( or a drum) the trace would look like a saw-tooth.
If I have not given enough of a description, please ask for more detail. :-)

Use a BRX.
@RBPLC (Customer)
I am trying to debug some code that a trend would be helpful. I know that it would help me, but more importantly, the entire Click community might find it to be useful.🙂
Does the BRX programming include a simulator? If it does, I would install the software and use the simulator to duplicate my Click programming bug!
BRX does include a simulator. Productivity Suite has one as well. Both platform's development software are free.
And a lot more feature filled than the budget minded Click line.
I know the Productivity Suite has bit and word histograms, I assume BRX does as well.
BRX has a simulator and its trending capabilities are light years ahead of Productivity Suite.
Click software can trend a PID, but not a regular tag. What Comm-Tronix describes is like the Histogram feature in RSLogix 5/500:

The BRX is out of stock until at least May 5.
