Is it possible to send an email with a P1-550 CPU through a SE-SL3011 router?

Wondering if it is possible to send an email from a P1-550 CPU through a SE-SL3011 router. I realise that I can buy a notify license for the router, but figured I would ask before purchasing this. I am trying to get away with using only 1 WAN IP address instead of adding my LAN to the WAN.

Thanks, Scott

    Yes it is.

You will need to set the Default Gateway in the P-Series CPU to match the LAN IP Address of your Stride VPN router. You will also need to set the ' LAN > WAN: Allow access to the Internet' setting in the Stridelinx Firewall settings under Fleet Manager.

Thanks for the info. I have changed the items that you provided, but I am getting the following error. Any ideas?

This sounds like a DNS issue, but I can't be certain. Currently, I am using the following settings in my CPU Ethernet Port settings:

        • Preferred DNS: 8.8.8.8
        • Alternate DNS: 8.8.4.4

What DNS server addresses are you using?

When I remove my DNS settings, changing them to 0.0.0.0 and cycle power on the CPU, I can get a 'Failed to get server address (-288)', which is not exactly what you're seeing, but very similar.

I am just getting back to this. I was using the WAN IP as my default gateway. Changed to the LAN ip and this is what I am getting now. I am using a gmail account.

If you're seeing (-188) Failed TLS Handshake error, try setting the clock on the CPU (matching your PC) to make sure it is current. TLS is time sensitive.

This took care of it. Thank you!
