Can we make this dialog update not happen during bulk tag creation.

(similar to Excel VBA Application.ScreenUpdating = False)

I understand that there is a lot going on behind the scene, but we ( I ) do not need to have this flash/update during the tag creation.

Creating bulk tags (in this case 1000) takes about 2 minutes (*depending on conditions) with any forced-update dialog open.

With the UDS Definition window closed and the Tag Database datatypes all unticked this 2 minute process is cut to about 5 seconds. (and the more I add, the longer this time is extended, too)

Adding AR2US16 extended this time to 6 minutes -- because I forgot to untick the datatypes!

I expect that conditions, could be construed to mean tag database population count, number of datatypes to refresh for every tag created, how long the software has been open, time between saves, PAC Suite internal housekeeping.....]
