This post will show you how to send and receive ASCII through the RS485 port. It will use Modbus ASCII to communicate with a Solo Process Temperature Controller.

My problem is with termination symbols.
I didn't see the termination symbol in my command.
My device accepts commands like that: @addss/STX/Command/ETX/BCC. In my case it should be:
@03/02/RFV/03/113. Please, check my attachment. Can you tell me what's wrong?- Garry (Customer)
You will have to provide a manual of the protocol you are working on. Can you tell us what the device is that you are connecting to?
What is the hex data that you need to send out?

I resolve the problem. I use custom protocol with Hex format data (custom protocol OUT).
