With the G2 drives, can I get the the "Jog" speed to additionally run off the external potentiometer along with the run speed?
In our application, the drive is on a large rotating welding positioner. Depending on the welder or welding application, they may run it in a "Run" application or use it in a "Jog" application. I want the potentiometer to set the speed in both run and jog, not just run. FYI, the potentiometer is in a remote pendant and can be as far away as 50' from the drive.
There is no way to change the jog speed other than Parameter 5.0
One idea for JOG - use a momentary signal to the RUN input. Then for RUN use a latched or maintained input. So it feels like a separate JOG & RUN to the operator but to the GS2 it is just a RUN for various lengths of time.
