I tried about 4 times to post a link, then I noticed the leading SPACE!

I tried about 4 times to post a link, then I noticed the leading SPACE!
What steps are you doing so I can try to duplicate? I select some text -> select link -> type in or paste my link into the field and I am not seeing any whitespace? When I select save link works as expected below are a few examples:

I was replying to this thread with a link to this thread
I copied the URL from the browser's address bar and pasted the URL into the Link URL dialog.
When I pasted the URL into the link dialog, there was a leading space. When I clicked the Link URL dialog's [SAVE] button, I saw an error dialog that said to start the link with http:// or https://
I dismissed the Link URL dialog and tried again - I pasted the link from the clipboard then [SAVE] -- same error dialog
I did this a couple more times before I scrolled to the beginning of the link - there was a space there - this happened thru several PASTE events, so the SPACE must have been in the clipboard.
I cannot duplicate this by following these steps.
It could be a browser problem, and not a forum bug. Firefox 105.0.1
For now, I guess, we can make a note. If I can duplicate it, I will try to make better observations.
