Hi everyone,
Someone who has version 3.8 of the Software productivity suite?
Someone who has version 3.8 of the Software productivity suite?
Since when connecting to the PLC, I can do the backup, but this message appears, that to see the version without alterations I must use this version of software V3.8, but in the Automation site does not have that version, only 3.10 and 3.11.
I forget how to edit the url to get the specific old version you want, Im sure someone else can help with that.
As for the error message, it won't really convert your ladder logic or anything. It is just changing some back-end stuff you can't really see because new hardware features were added in new software versions. If you are already using a new version of Productivity for your programs, it should be fine to open that project in the new versions. Just click yes and save a backup copy that retains the old version project. The software will then open the PLC program and you can save a new version for the new software. Nothing in your ladder logic or functionality should actually change.

I can't get that to work anymore.
@darok8, contact techsupport.
Ask for the link. They may ask why you need this version. They can get it to you.
Why must you use 3.8, if you don't mind answering?
@darok8 (Customer) You can view the project without alteration using a newer version.
You should be able to save the 3.8 version using a newer version.
Reread the last line of that dialog.
It is asking if you want to save an unaltered copy.
as a note I cant remember what version it was but upgrading from one of the older versions to a newer version required a stop mode change if you where going to make program changes.
