How to find my ViewMarq using ethernet?

I am trying to configure a ViewMarq display, but I can't find the device on the network, how do I know the actual IP address of my device?, this issue happen after I reset communications to a factory default, on my ViewMarq

Issue fixed, I think is a bug on the ViewMarq software, I just installed the software on a virtual machine instead of host and everything worked just fine.

If you remove power and power it back on the ip address the DHCP server sets should scroll across the display if i remember correctly. I do not remember what it defaults to if there is no DHCP server tough.

It was doing that before I reset communications to a factory default, after that I just can see the last message I downloaded to the display, I tried already power off and power up the display, it has to be a way to find the device even if you don't know the ip address.

If you know the MAC (likely on a tag somewhere on the device) you can use a variety of network scanners or a simple arp -a command will show you the arp table and you can match from there.

Have you followed the process in manual pages 4-5 through 4-8?

If so, in what way does this process fail?

[Edit: extend page range to 4-8]

You should also be able to connect to it using the serial port and set a static IP that way

I haven't seen it on ViewMarq but on productivity I have had problems with an antivirus software blocking the broadcast request to find productivity PLCs on the network. This may be happening here.
