Hello, does anyone have any resources where I can learn how to control multiple motors independently with one VFD. I would also like to learn more on how to do that in PLC. Thank you

Independently with a single VFD? Im not sure if that is possible. You should have a VFD for each motor you want to control on its own.
You can connect more than 1 motor to a single VFD if you want them to be controlled the same.

Yes, if you buy a VFD rated for 10HP and connect two 5HP motors to it then you can do that, but each motor will start and stop together and run the same speed as the other. You cannot use more advanced vector control or feedback from a motor to the VFD, you must use "dumb" control like V/F to make the motors run. Also if you have a higher load on one motor than the other, that motor will have more slip and won't be 100% in sync with the first motor that has a lighter load, and the VFD will be unable to compensate for the slip because it cannot run those more advanced modes with multiple motors. This is one of the main reasons you rarely see such a configuration. You will also need to install short circuit protection and overload contactor on each motor after the VFD.
