How to resolve USB connectivity issues
Am experiencing issues with connecting to BRX via USB POM. Used to be I could plug/unplug cable and/or power down and power up PLC all while on line and link would re-establish itself. Now it's inconsistent. And when it doesn't re-connect, I have to reboot my PC and all works again. PC OS is Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2 (build 19042.1466). Anybody else running into this issue? No issues with other USB devices/connections
Windows 10 Bah. Now there is Windows 11. Anybody using Windows 11 yet? Issues?
I have been having this issue since I "upgraded" to Windows 11. Actually the Do-More software has become slightly unstable/slow since Windows 11. It may just be my laptop however.
I am looking for some advice an a PC that can handle being connected to multiple devices such as a PLC, HMI and multiple VFDs via USB. I have gone through several Dell computers that were either too small or simply had ongoing connectivity issues and leading to non responding USB ports. For whatever reason, it begins with accidental and sometimes intentionally disconnecting PLC before disconnecting via software first. The Dell I currently use wouldn't connect at all when brand new and our IT person at the time made some Power management and other changes and it worked just not 100%. Then got worse until now one USB port is completely non responsive to even a mouse.
