C-More EA3-T4CL with CompactLogix Ethernet/IP
Hello guys Im completely new to C-More HMI and PLC's. So this is what I have:
We have a EA3-T4CL display that we want to use to connect it to CompactLogix 1769-L33ER 20.X.
In previous post I read that for compactlogix need to use Allen-BradleyEthernet/IP Client (SLC5/05/ENI Adapter) so i set it that wey in the C-More micro software I also gave the CompactLogix IP address but when I download the project and connect the display to the CompactLogix I keep getting error P001 for PLC COM TIME OUT.
Do you guys have any idea what Im doing wrong?
Regards
Have you set up the Channel Configuration in CompactLogix?
"If your network is returning communication errors, test the basic network set up by transferring a new C-more Micro project with Panel Manager settings that match the PLC port settings and a single Numeric Display object addressed to N7:0. Ensure that the PLC port settings are correct by verification with that PLC's programming software."
There is one other thing to try if this still fails.
"Power cycle the PLC, THEN the C-more panel. If communication errors persist, power cycle the C-more panel, THEN the PLC."
If you are still having issues, I would contact AD directly. Their tech guys are very good.
Regards,
Garry

"P001 PLC Com Timeout" means that the C-More Micro does not see the target device (CompactLogix) on the network. This error can occur when:
Things you can do to help others in the Community understand your setup:
Once you've resolved this issue, Help Topic CMM310 will help walk you through setting up the "PLC/SLC Mapping" configuration in the CompactLogix in order for C-More Micro's "Allen-BradleyEthernet/IP Client (SLC5/05/ENI Adapter)" driver to share data with the CompactLogix CPU.
Issue resolved, I didnt set up the ip address in the C-More Display, once I change to static IP address and assigned the ip address it communicate with the PLC
