Has anyone used SIA TCP protocol with productivity?
Attempting to talk to a BOSCH fire system using SIA TCP or UDP protocol over ethernet. It is an ascii based message from a Bosch building fire system. (Security Industry Association). Looking at the protocol it is just a series of messages using predefined . Has anyone done anything like this?
I have never done it, but you should be able to use the ASCII in/ouit instructions to talk between the device and Productivity just fine, or if that doesn't work then perhaps a custom protocol Ethernet instruction instead.
