NEW PLC SOFTWARE USER: How can I create a delay in my code?

I am using a PLC (C2-01CPU, C2-14D2 Module) to control a pneumatic linear actuator. I need my program to include a delay so that the linear actuator pauses in the extended position before retracting. I have been attempting to program this logic using the CLICK programming software. My goal is to leave an input on for a period of time before turning it off. I've tried using on and off timers but have had no success because the enable rule must be on/off for the period of time which the timer is set to. Can anyone provide some support?

You don't change whether inputs are on or off in code. Can you provide your program? Point out what you are doing and the desired result.

if do you dont want to use timers you can always use the time based drum logic like this, be sure to leave step 1 blank then fill on the rest of the steps as needed and which outputs you want in the ON state in each steps, then put the output completion of the drum as the reset for your purpose
