Todd Dice (Customer) asked a question.
Trouble clearing an Error warning on Click Plus C2-03CPU.
I have a C2-03CPU used at home so I can code for work on weekends (yes, I'm a nut). As such, it resides in a brief case powered off most of the time. When I do power it up, the ERR light flashes, and upon getting online to it (I connect to it over my home wireless network), I can clear the warning (loss of SRAM data is what the warning says) BUT the ERR light continues to flash. The only way I've found to stop the ERR light is to power down the Click. Is this normal?
The Click is programmed with V3.11 on a Windows 10 64-bit computer. Thanks!
Hi Todd,
This is a normal occurrence when you do not have a battery installed in the Click.

D0-MC-BAT (CR2032) is the battery for the Click PLUS PLC.
D2-BAT-1 (CR2354) is the battery for all the other Click PLCs.
The battery will be good for three years.

Garry
The Click definitely has a battery, and I have the low battery warning enabled and should show up on the C-more I have connected to it.
I have the same problem. ERR led light flashing on the C2-03CPU, I added a new battery and reset it and still flashing. Any idea what causes this? Thanks!
Have you tried resetting the plc to factory defaults -> reload project? Does error persist?
The ERR led on the CPU flashing even when reseted to factory default. But on Erorr history tab it's showing Missing 24V on the IO. You think that may caused the red led on the cpu to flash constantly?
Yes. Refer to Chapter 6 for list of error codes.

Same issue on a lot of mine, with or without batteries.
