CLICK output bad
I pulled out an ice cube relay being fed from a 24v sink output and plugged it back in. Now the output light is lit but have no voltage coming out of the output. Is it possible that I killed the output?
Probably not. This is a poorly worded question with too little detail to provide any meaningful feedback. A wiring diagram, photos, module type or similar is needed to help diagnose the problem. If this is a sinking output you shouldn't "have voltage coming out of the output".
Of course it is "possible", is it likely? I wouldn't think so, but still it is possible.
Since you say "plugged" I assume it was a socketed relay and you didn't intentionally change any wiring, but you might check for lose connections and see if anything was changed inadvertently.
Also If it is a sink output the only voltage you could measure would have to be going through the relay, if the coil is open (I assume you suspected a problem when you unplugged it) you won't measure any voltage at the PLC output. Also, for a sinking output if it is ON there will be very little voltage (fraction of a volt) as a sinking output connects the output to common when on.
If there is some 'flyback protection device' on/connected to the relay socket, it would be less likely that you destroyed your output.
But it is possible that repeat on/off transitions adding incremental damage to the output would eventually kill the output.
