why cant i push a value to a modbus register like i can in the Click PLC , sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, is there any fix to this .>?

This is a vague question. This could be for any number of reasons.
Using multiple Modbus Software to read and write the Click PLC works Flawless . Going to the Productivity it doesn't like to write to modbus registers but will read them "sometimes" simple network - PLC - switch - PC / using a varity of languages and Software
Without seeing your code, I will assume you do not have the polling set properly. See Image for an example.
Are you trying to read and write to modbus addresses in the productivity from an external source?
If so you need to give the tag you want to read and write to a modbus address from the tag database.
