I have a productivity 1000 unit where I am comparing a thermocouple value to a max_temp value/tag. When I set the rage value in the rage viewer, and reference it in the statement, it comes back zero. When I input it directly in the statement as a constant
….it works fine. I have checked that the compare values are both 32 bit floating, so not a type mismatch. I can just set it with a constant, but it seems it would be better to set the value more globally as its own tag, and then reference it.
any ideas? And thank you all in advance for your help.
Well - Interestingly enough...it works now. I think I was caught up in some weird update cycle between saving the project, and getting it to the PLC. I have checked it a few other ways, and it seems fine now. Thank you for getting back to me!
