Text strings are byte swapped while simulate is active.

To read from a compact logix PLC (3rd Gen) I have to byte Swap to display string text from the PLC. When I simulate the HMI in the C-More program, Enter text into the text strings, the byte swap option for the PLC tag variable causes simulated values to byte swap. Can this be turned off across the board while simulating with no PLC and left on when loaded into an actual HMI?

    There is no way to do this currently. Good idea though. I am surprised I have never heard before. Thanks

      One other area the byte swap bytes (pun) is in the alarm messaging. You cant byte swap the text you want to add to an alarm display so it removes it as an option for programmers using PLCS that require a byte swap to read their ascii strings.
