i don't have any micro850 to test but on controllogix it is much easier the other way around where the AB plc reads from the productivity PLC instead of where the productivity PLC writes to the AB PLC.

also i read that the micro850 supports modbuss so i am sure that would be easier if it is an option for you.

Yes we are Doing modbus to/from the Productivity and Ethernet/IP out to the AB Micro850

can you use a MSG_CIPGeneric instruction in the micro 850 and read from the productivity. That is how I do it with contrologix and compactlogix. I have zero experience with connected component work bench but it should work
