KKW (Customer) asked a question.
What is the difference between Slave Id and Slave Address?
I have a C0-02DD2-D Click PLC. Using port 2 for MODBus communications, the Send and Receive instructions require both a Slave ID and Slave Address. I don't understand the difference between the two, that is - how does the Slave Address work?
What product & part number are you using?
C0-02DD2-D Click PLC
Hi @KKW (Customer),
This post may help you out.

The Slave ID will dictate the actual physical device on the network. This is set at the physical device.
The Slave Address usually refers to the memory address for communications to the device.
