kewakl (Customer) asked a question.

P1-540 error message E04310. What does it really mean?

I noticed in a P1-540 error log

25JUN21 13:20:54 E04310 RTE mem overlap SSID

25JUN21 13:13:20 E04312 Prj Loader ScLibE_1212

What does E04310 mean? The help file does not detail this individual code.

It is included in a range of errors:

[E04308 - E04315 Internal firmware project loader failure] [Critical] [Load new project]

What version software are you using?

Are you doing a run or stop mode transfer?

  • kewakl (Customer)

    SW 3.9.0.26

    FW 1.2.9.30

I do not remember stop or run mode transfer, as this was a few weeks back.

Seeing a "Prj Loader ScLibE_1212" error I would recommend you do a stop mode transfer (2 times). This will make sure that the 3.9 version of the scan library is downloaded to the cpu.

Then see if the error persists.

Will do, at the next opportunity.

Got got notified we have a new version of Productivity Suite that should fix your error. It is now available on our software download site:

    Productivity Suite Release Notes

    Version 3.9.1.5

    Improvements:

1.) Update CA certificate for new Google TLS certificates used for EMAL instruction.

    Bug Fixes:

1.) GUI not enforcing a Stop Mode transfer when project created in a previous version of GUI that included STMR instructions. A Run Mode transfer results in critical error E04312.

2.) Deleting a Bit-of-word tag that is used in a Data View, then saving the project can corrupt the Project file.

3.) If an invalid tagname is entered in a Data View and the Data View is closed before clicking out of the field, the GUI generates errors when opening the Data View again.

4.) GUI not allowing Find Home command to select GPIO input 1 to Switch 1 definition if other GPIO point previously selected
