How to setup communication with a Sureservo2 and an EA9 HMI
New project and new to the hardware. Not sure where to start to send data registers from the HMI to a SureServo2 amplifier.
I need to modify the length setpoint from the HMI.
This will not be able to be done solely with an HMI. There’s going to have to be some logic involved.
You will need a PLC in between the C-more panel and the servo.

I don't know anything about the SureServo2. However, seems to me that if all you have to do is to pass data (numbers, not high speed pulses) to the servo amp, you can put an Ethernet Click between the the HMI and the Servo. Not expensive and might allow you to do other things with the system. 🙂
New to this servo system, but I had to use a BRX PLC. I plan on trying the Productivity as well. The PLC handles the MODBUS. I went with the Ethernet card on the SureServo2 drive and this seems to work great. Still trying to understand all the various parameters, but easy enough to get the servo to move to a designated path (and this new one has a bunch of path points that can be inputted or pre-programmed).
