Roland (Customer) asked a question.

Will GS21-22P0 display 24000RPM.

Will GS21-22P0 display 24000RPM, or only display 4 digits (9999). My current VFD uses the 5 digit for "r". I am planning to use the GS21-22P0 to power a 800watt CNC spindle.

thank you

@Roland (Customer) I reached out to our Drives Product Engineer. Confirmed the display truncates the least significant digit (right photo). We recommend the GS4-KPD (left photo) can be used, it shows the full value.

I have never used a GS20 drive, but in the manual parameter P05.03 it lists a range for drive rated RPM as 0-xxxxx. I dont really know how high of a value it will accept, or how many digits the display will show as Parameters P00.03 and P00.04 do not seem to list the number of digits it can show.

Judging by the pictures, the display has 5 digits, however the first is a letter describing the data. So I am not sure even in "user display" mode if it will show 5 digits of RPMs or still just 4 with a letter at the beginning.

One possibility though is to use an external display. If you read the RPM data over modbus you could display the full 5 digit RPM on an HMI or maybe even just a panel display pulling the data via analog or something..

Thank you, I thought it might drop "ones" position when it reached 9999. Kinda nice to know RPM, I agree probably have to use an external display.
