Hello,
I'm running into some issues with the BX-08THM. As of right now I'm only using 2 channels. One is a J-type and one is a K-type, I did this as I was trying to diagnose the problem. I really only need the J type to measure melt temp for our extrusion unit.
- I have an I/O System Status warning - Channel out of range WX0 and WX1
- When I have the thermocouples hooked up, J reads -3280 and K reads -2560. When not connected J reads -32750 and K reads -25750.
When I change the analog input to +/-39mV. The I/O system status warning goes away and both thermocouples read out between -27700 and -27400. If I unplug them they read -32767.
I've ran through all the thermocouple wire and replaced it, I also checked to make sure connections are correct. Checked the plugs and tried other thermocouples of the correct type. I also updated all the software and firmware
I'm wondering if I have a bad unit.
Thanks for your time,
Zack

Do you have the unused channels jumpered out with wire?
