Hey all,
I was wondering if it's possible to use libraries like neopixel and FastLED on the P1AM-100. Can i asume that the software which works on my arduino uno will also work on the P1AM-100? (Alsong as i have the right hardware shields)
I was also wondering if anyone on this forum has already used the P1AM-100 to control individually adressable LED strips using SPI. Would you recommend this module (in combination with the enthernet module and the GPIO) for controlling 6 seperate LED strips this way? And/or has anyone experienced any problems when controlling the LED strips which i can take into account?
Kind regards,
Jules
Hi JulesvanHoren
"The P1AM-100 uses the SAMD21 just like the Arduino MKRZERO or the Arduino Zero. Most libaries made for Arduino boards will work with the P1AM-100, however some may mention they only work with specfic boards. When looking at libaries that mention specific boards, check to make sure that they include the MKRZERO, Zero, or SAMD21. If a library says it is only for "AVR" or "UNO" then it is possible it may not be compatible."
