Dennis (Customer) asked a question.

I am building a Click plc stack with different I/O's and the issue is that apparently the analog input card C0-04AD-2 seems to not be getting enough voltage.

The power supply is supplying 24V (as it should) and the only card giving me this issue is the third card. At first I thought it was a hardware issue so I swapped it three times using the same model, but it did not fix it. (see picture for errors). If anyone can help me i'd be thankful.Photo Apr 13, 11 02 26click error

Check your wiring and make sure you've got 24V and 0V on those two wires into the bottom of the card. Maybe it's sitting on the insulation.

    This..

Have you actually measured the voltage (preferably with a meter that supports MIN/MAX) to see if there is a voltage sag?

Also, try powering I/O with a separate power supply. That C0-01AC is 1.3A. Maybe intermittent loading causes your voltage to sag. Any pattern to the errors and other functions?

I see that this error only shows on the analog. I do not think that the digital IO have this detection.

Check your connections +V and 0V connections can cause this. Those plug-in jumper terminals are less than desirable.

Sometimes, I double-jumper the groups. For analog, I always double-jumper the 0V -- to much accumulated mV drop from end to end.

Are your terminalblock screws tight? Been there/seen that.

Yeah, I was wondering about the missing '3' label.

We are getting a solid 24v, we just used another power supply and we are still getting Low Voltage error... I also tried another plc...same error. I doubled the jumper in the 0V stack too. Everything is tight as it should. Thank you for helping anyways..

It really looks like you do not have any wires connected to 0V terminal....

Another check is the I/O should be powered by a separate power supply and NOT the by the C0-01AC powering the Click CPU.

We do have another power supply for the IO's. Thanks.

I'd call technical support. It's free.

There is a wire there, just a little hard to see in the picture, im sorry.

I found the issue. There was NO battery in the PLC hehe, so dumb 😅 . Thanks everyone.
