firesteed (Customer) asked a question.
Does anyone know where I can get a schematic symbol and footprint for OA5611-48-24 relay? The datasheet I can find does not show the pin diameters or pitch for me to build the footprint. Would love to get an Altium symbol and pcb footprint
From the solid model:
Pin measurements
Larger pins (Coil) are 0.5mm x 1mm
Smaller pins (everything else) are 0.325mm x 0.8mm
Pins are thinnest when viewed from side of relay
Pin spacing
Between largest pins center to center (width) and smallest pins center to center (width): 10mm
Between large pin and closest small pin: 20.088mm
Between small pins: 4.825mm
Pin assignments (when viewed from top down with relay plugged into a base)
A1 A2 (A1 = +) (large pins)
13 14 NO (state when not powered)
23 24 NO
33 34 NO
41 42 NC

Hi Carol,
While this is a pin type relay, it's typical use is in a socket for industrial safety applications. You could contact DOLD directly and see if they have anything or just make your own footprint. This is larger than a typical safety relay would would find in a safety controller.
I would make my own footprint, but they do not provide the drawing with dimensions. Typically you would get a drawing something like this.
I specified dimensions in the first post with pin dimensions and spacing. I can draw it out if that makes more sense.
Thank you,
Carol
Ok here you go
The holes on this drawing do not align with the 3D model. I think maybe teh 4.825mm spacing is incorrect. Either that or the 3D model is incorrect. The 3d Model has larger spacing. Can you please verify the hole to hole spacing in the Y direction?
Hi Carol,
I assummed the pin spacing would be the same for all the smaller pins which looks like that is not the case. I would contact DOLD and see if they can verify the drawing.
