Mounting an HMI on a NEMA 4 enclosure.
We plan to make a cutout in our NEMA 4 rated enclosure to mount the HMI. What measures do we need to take to seal the HMI to the enclosure and maintain our NEMA rating?

I am not sure if this exactly answers your question, but you download the EA9 hardware user manual and in chapter 4 there is cut-out dimensions and torque specifications for mounting and sealing the various EA9 touch screen. I think the micro panels have a similar chapter and requirements. I do not see that this is specifically NEMA 4 rated installation, but it might be in the fine print somewhere else in this manual.
read fine print, yes but indoor only: NEMA 4/4X, IP65 compliant when mounted correctly, indoor use only.
I always add: Screen protector, non-glare, 10in. Package of 3. For use with C-more EA9-T10WCL widescreen HMI. I don't know if that affects rating (no info I can find)but they do work very for our use.
We have one in the middle of a field no cover of any. You will get about 2 to 2 1/2 years out the unit. No problems with leaks, the sun gets them over time. But the company will not build a cover over the pump skid lol.
