PAC Suite - Is it possible?

I know that currently this is not an option for us, but does the programming/monitoring/connections allow for one PC to be online with a PAC and another PC to be able to transfer (extract) the 'existing' program from the PAC?

Note: I am not asking for multiple pc's to be connected for editing at the same time.

I have a laptop on a crash cart that may stay at a piece of equipment for weeks. I have a laptop at my desk.

I would really like to be able to transfer the running program from that equipment to my desk pc while the crash cart pc maintains a connection - or the other way around.

As it is now, I go to the crash cart/desk to take the pc offline only to go back to my desk/crash cart to look at the code.

    I used Team Viewer.

I had a customer replace A-B PLCs on my equipment to P1Ks. I am in California, the customer in Texas. The customer had Team Viewer on their laptop as well as PSuite. They gave me the login and PW, and I ran their laptop from my desk.

If I can get Roy and Moss from The IT Crowd to install it on both laptops, this could do the trick!

I really don't care which remote access software brand name I use, I want something that works.

I (personally) am not paying for it, and I do not have to juggle licensing/installation/support. IT has people for that!

      Thank you

Teamviewer is nice but I hate the license issues. AnyDesk is a good alternative and free - does 95% of what Teamviewer does. If you want a license, it's dirt cheap.

Just copy the file from your remote connection and paste in to your other machine.

I've been on a remote connection with three computers right now (my laptop behind me, a Proface HMI next to me, and another laptop in the next state over.) Very stable.
