Orion HE (Customer) asked a question.

In C-more Programming Software, I'd like to have transparent background on Dynamic Text

Static Text boxes have a transparency option. I'd like the same for Dynamic Text. Then I could place colored blocks behind it to control the background color with PLC string data. The only way I can find to do what I want is using the Lookup Text box, but that's integers and not strings generated in the PLC.

Check the box for no fill and it will be transparent. It's different from static text, dynamic has a no fill option when you select the background color. Static just has the transparency box on the side.

    Selected as Best

I'd like to extend this request to Numeric Display objects for the same reason as given by the OP. Numeric Displays seem to have neither No Fill nor Transparent options.

  • NickM (Customer)

Yes, please add no fill to Numeric Display.

I third having a no fill or a transparent option for Numeric Display...
