Has anyone connected more than one of the P1-02HSC cards to the P1AM-100? I have a project that will have 6 stepper motors with encoders (3 STP-MTR-23055E and 3 STP-MTR-23079E), and I need to know all of their positions. I know there's code examples for a single HSC card, but I need one card per motor. How would I go about writing the code to read from each individual card?

You can create multiple class objects from the P1_HSC_Module class. The naming of each object can be whatever you want but needs to be unique and assigned the slot number the module is in.
In he ReadPosition example on line 29 is an example of how to create a class object along with the slot number the module is in.
The P1-02HSC should be able to accept 2 encoders so you should only need 3 cards not 6 unless you are doing something else with the other inputs not mentioned.
I may have to look into the wiring diagrams a bit more. I looked into both, but I thought the encoders on the motors I listed where dual channel motors (thus taking up both channels on the cards).
on page 6 it says "Line Driver Output Encoders Not Reccommended for P1-02HSC"
Which jogs my memory I ran in to this with a P1-540 after ordering the motor. I had a thread about it on the old forum. I ended up not using the encoder as it wasn't needed for the project. If the project changed again i was going to swap the encoder out to a push pull.
