The big guy JPK (Customer) asked a question.
Productivity Modbus RTU to ABB drives.
I'm just starting research on this and have to get it online in a couple of months. Any help would be welcome. I can;'t be the first person doing this. Is there any example logic out there?
This is an example of communication using Modbus RTU from the Productivity to the Solo.

It will show you the basic modbus commands and responses. The Productivity has automatic polling which is a nice feature which it also explains.

The above link is for the modbus addresses on the ABB Drive RS485 adapter.

What ABB drive do you have?
Which CPU are you using? You posted in Open Source are you using a P1AM-100?
I'll be doing it with a P1-540 to ABB ACS580 drives and P2-550 to ACS-310 dirves.
Yea I already found the Productivity to Solo video. Also I'm not using the adapter. The drives has Modbus RTU built in. They call the "Fieldbus adapter"
The built in is RS232 and you can't use front panel if that matters. Fieldbus Adapter uses RS485 and allows use of front panel.
